Great experience!!
That's how I'd describe Operation Asia 2012 in Phnom Penh,
Cambodia. International Airborne Operations did a great job From arrival to
departure. The operation was well organized, and the accomidations were
outstanding. The Royal Cambodian Special Forces had a great training for all to experience, From rappelling, Ak-47 familiarization, parachuting, and scuba
diving. They provided a liaison for our group the entire operation. Our
adventure started with a unbelievable excursion to Security Prison S-21, killing fields, and Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. The next several days were spent rappelling, weapons familiarization and airborne operations. The jump was well organized and what a blast jumping out of the MI-6. After airborne operations a pinning ceremony and pig roast was hosted by the Royal Cambodian Special Forces.
The nights were filled with great food and fun in Phnom Penh. Mid week we had
an excursion to Angkor Wat, the city of temples. Amazing, is how I'd describe
it!! The only negative, was there was not enough time to experience all the
temples, but we had to get to the Cambodian coast for scuba diving at Sihanouk
Ville. The Gulf of Thailand was a little rough, but all in all we had a great
day. From there it was back to Phnom Penh for the flight home. The Cambodian
SF, couldn't have been a more gracious host! Stefan and his staff made the
operation a memorable one. Look forward to another adventure with International Airborne Operations!
